stolen

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say jewelry and U.S. currency were stolen after entry was gained from a home in the 2800 block of Semmel Drive, North Whitehall Township sometime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. May 30.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call state police at 610-861-2026.

Saw, air

filter stolen

Police say Joseph Dominck Dagostino reported a Hepa 500 air filter and Skill Worm Drive saw were stolen from a construction trailer sometime between 4:30 p.m. May 28 and 6:30 p.m. the next day at 1985 Settlers Ridge Road, North Whitehall Township.

Doors stolen

from dumpster

According to a police report received June 6, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say two car doors were stolen from a dumpster in parking lot No. 1 at Lehigh Career Technical Institute, 4500 Education Drive, North Whitehall Township, 12:44 a.m. May 11.

Police say the doors are described as a white front driver's side Crown Victoria and a white front passenger side Ford Focus.

According to police, the theives entered the parking lot in a pickup truck, removed the two doors, then fled the scene by backing the pickup out of the parking lot.

Copper pipe

According to a police report received June 6, police say various lengths and sizes of copper pipe were stolen from a home in the 3200 block of Route 309, North Whitehall Township, sometime between 6:30 p.m. May 6 and 10:30 May 20.

Vehicle hits

shrub

Thomas J. McDonald,19, of Schnecksville was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze when it hit a shrub at 4724 Mill Road, North Whitehall Township, 6:15 p.m. May 27, say State Police Troop M Bethlehem.

According to police, the car was traveling westbound on Mill Road when McDonald allegedly fell asleep and travel into the opposting lane of travel.

The car then traveled off the roadway to the left onto the Mill Road property, hitting the shrub in front of the house, before continuing back on the roadway after McDonald regained control of his vehicle.

Police allege McDonald then proceeded to flee the scene back to his residence.

McDonald, who wearing his seat belt, did not sustain injury, police say.

He was cited for two traffic violations, say police.

Driver taken

into custody

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Lillybeth Acosta-Del Rio, 28, of Breinigsville was allegedly stopped for a stop sign violation at Routes 22 and 309, South Whitehall Township, 1:22 a.m. May 26.

According to police, she was taken into custody for driving under the influence after allegedly showing signs of impairment and failtin a standard field sobriety test.

She was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center for processing, police say.

GPS unit

stolen

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Thomas Charles Kichline rported a TomTom XL GPS unit valued at $499 was stolen from inside an unlocked vehicle 3 a.m. May 18 at 5177 Arrowhead Drive, North Whitehall Township.

According to police, the GPS unit was positioned on the dashboard of the vehicle in plain view.

Kichline related that he allegedly observed a white male with black hair, wearing a gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt and dark blue jeans standing beside the vehicle.

Police say the male who appreared to be in his mid teens fled the area trav ling through a field towards Route 873 to an unknown destination.
