The free, open to the public annual 24 hour Amateur Radio Field Day will be held June 22 and 23 at Louise Moore Park, pavilion #5, Country Club Road, just off Hecktown Road.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. June 22, the Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club (DLARC) will be testing local emergency preparedness operations by seting up radio stations, erecting antennas and then transmitting for the next 24 hours under simulated emergency conditions. After 2 p.m. June 22, many participants will be contacting fellow hams around the country for the next 24 hours.
