Janet L. Getz, 70, of Weisenberg Township, died June 10, 2013, in her home.

She and her husband Junior H. Getz were married 53 years in January.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Leverne S. and Edith (Landis) Gehman.

She and her husband owned and operated Getz Service Station, Route 222, Breinigsville, for the past 35 years.

Previously, she worked at Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis, for more than 10 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Trexlertown and was active in TOPS.

Her favorite interests included traveling throughout the world and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Jeffrey S. and his wife, Beverly, and Mark C. and his wife, Angie, all of Kutztown; grandchildren Lisa Oswald and Justin and Jaron Getz.

She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph, in 2004.
