Emmaus Historical Society annual picnic will be held 5 p.m. at the Moser Pavilion at Community Park. Members are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Amateur Radio Field Day, 9:30 a.m. The Louise Moore Park, Pavilion #5, Easton. During a 24-hour period annually, well over 35,000 amateur radio operators across the country practice their operating skills and test their radio station's capabilities during simulated emergency conditions. One Ring European Style Lewis and Clark Family Circus at Quakertown Farmers Market, 201 Station Road, Quakertown, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 3 p.m. June 23. Each performance is an hour and 30 minutes. The circus features traditional circus acts such as the high flying trapeze, amazing acrobats, zany clowns and liberty animal acts which include horses and camels. There is also a chance to interact with the animals in the petting zoo. There is no admission for children under the age of 14 when accompanied by a paying adult. Vacation Bible School at Horizon Church, 2613 W. South Street, Allentown (corner of Ott and South Street) invites all children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade to a Superhero VBS 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through June 28. There will be movies, games, crafts and snacks. A closing ceremony will be held June 28, followed by a neighborhood block party. There is no charge to attend.
