Good, "Clean" fun: Life, death and the perfect joke are explored in "The Clean House" by Sarah Ruhl. The show includes, above, seated, left to right, Kelly Rohrbach (Matilde), Jan Labellarte (Ana) and Nick Englesson (Charles), and, standing, Amy Cramer (Lane). Says Brown, Cedar Crest College professor of theater and speech, of Ruhl, "Her use of magic realism allows us to explore emotions and themes on a level that we may not get to do if we retain a wholly realistic view of the world." The story unfolds with Ruhl's razor-sharp dialogue. "Her writing is so efficient, so clear and so poetic," Brown says. Tickets: 610-865-6665
