Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, will hold vacation Bible school 9 a.m.-noon June 24-28 for children age 3 through sixth grade.

This year's theme is the story of Moses. Children will learn through stories, songs, crafts, games and more.

To preregister, call the church office at 610-262-9517 weekdays 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Each child will need a plain white T-shirt for craft time.

In conjunction with vacation Bible school, the church mission project is to purchase and distribute blankets to disaster survivors, especially children. A $10 donation will purchase blankets for a family of four.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will hold a picnic on Wednesday, June 19, at Municipal Park, Smith Lane and Laubach Avenue.

The event, which begins at noon, will include bingo and games. Food will be available until 5 p.m.

Those planning to attend must have a ticket and are encouraged to bring baked goods.

East Allen Township is holding sign-ups for summer camp, which runs for seven weeks from June 17 to Aug. 1.

Registration is held 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays at the municipal building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd.

There is a cost.
