Police arrested a man on numerous charges following an attempted traffic stop around 2:30 a.m. may 29.

According to police, Walter Chisholm, 32, of Bridge Street in Catasauqua, faield to stop for a red light at Stefko Boulevard and East Broad Street, and then also failed to stop when they attemtped to pull him over.

Chilholm did finally stop when he crashed his car in the 2700 block of Easton Avenue.

Chisholm is charged with traffic signals, speeding, inspection required, DUI, careless driving and fleeing and eluding.
