Fire department units from Greenawalds Fire Department and Western Salisbury Fire Department are dispatched about 8:25 a.m. June 8 for an alarm at the Cedar View Apartment complex along Dorney Park Road. Firefighters said smoke from burned food in a small counter-top oven in a sixth floor apartment set off the alarm. After assuring residents there was no ongoing problem, firefighters were released from the call about 8:40 a.m.
