COLLEGE GRADUATES
Clark University
Andrea R. Moshier of Bethlehem earned a bachelor of arts degree from Clark University. He graduated summa cum laude with a major in global environmental studies. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Gamma Theta Upsilon honor societies.
Misericordia University
Local resident Mary Baran of Bethlehem earned a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology May 18 at the 87th annual Misericordia University Commencement. She received the Speech-Language Pathology Outstanding Service Award as the student who participates and provides volunteer service to the department above and beyond academic and clinical responsibilities.
Northampton Community College
Several local residents are May 23 graduates of NCC's nursing program. Those who received pins and recited the Nightingale Pledge as graduate nurses and their hometowns are Phyllis Abalos, Kerry Knight, Edite Neves and Kerri Schaffer, all of Bethlehem; and Melissa Kruger of Hellertown.
University of Scranton
Three Bethlehem residents received post-baccalaureate master's degrees from The University of Scranton. They are Nicole M. Kovolenko, Health Administration with a major in health administration; Patrice Arlene Anderson, Science with a major in human resources; and Stephanie E. Zubia, Science with a major in occupational therapy.
University of Vermont
Lily H. Morgan of Bethlehem earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies within the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. She graduated Cum Laude at commencement ceremonies on May 19.
Wilkes College
Five local residents earned master's degree's in education from Wilkes University on May 18, 2013. The graduate students are Lauren Butler, Maureen Leeson, Dawn Peipher and Diane Peters, all of Bethlehem; and Laura DosSantos of Fountain Hill.
York College
Two Bethlehem residents have graduated from York College. Elizabeth Genova earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Veronica Groller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Chemistry.
