The inaugural Memorial Day Dash and Splash 5K and Emmaus Gets Fit Health Fair took place May 25 at Emmaus Community Park in the borough. The event was organized in support of the Emmaus Special Entertainment Commission's Sunday Concert Series. The event included the opening of the Emmaus Community Pool and a performance by the band "School's Out."
