LeRoy M. Litzenberger, 95, formerly of Orefield, died May 27, 2013, in Arden Courts, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late LaRue E. (Blose) Litzenberger.

Born Aug. 30, 1917, in Cetronia, he was the son of the late Milton G. and Stella (Lichtenwalner) Litzenberger.

A self-employed painter and paperhanger in the Lehigh Valley for 40 years, he retired in 1992.

He was a member and deacon of the Lutheran congregation of Cedar Union Church, Cetronia.

He was a member of the former Washington Grange and a former member of the Fogelsville Senior Citizens.

His survivors include a daughter Gloria L. Schantz and her husband, James, of Breinigsville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, George E.

His funeral services will be 11 a.m. May 31, 2013 at Cedar Union Church, 3419 Broadway, South Whitehall, with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church.

Interment will follow the service in the adjacent parish cemetery.
