Companies cited
for false alarms
Police say the Rural Sportsman Club of Trexlertown, 1090 Trexlertown Road, Upper Macungie Township, was cited 9:46 a.m. May 12 for having four or more false alarms within the past 12 consecutive months.
In a separate incident, Bank of America, 7720 Main St., Upper Macungie Township was also cited 4:47 p.m. May 12 for having four or more false alarms within the past 12 consecutive months.
Woman charged
with retail theft
Upper Macungie Township Police say Shirlene Stufflet of Trexlertown was detained by loss prevention 2 p.m. May 10 for allegedly taking five magazines worth $20.09 without paying for them from Redner's, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Upper Macungie Township.
Stufflet was charged with retail theft, police say.
PlayStation,
ring stolen
Police say an Ipad2, PlayStation Portable PlayStation, class ring and gold watch were stolen May 13 from various parts of a home in the 6600 block of Fugazotto Dr., Upper Macungie Township.
According to police, entry was gained through an unlocked rear door at the home.

Credit card, cash stolen from home
Police say a resident of the 5800 Haasadahl Road, Upper Macungie Township, reported 4:57 p.m. May 19 that during the early morning hours of May 12 a Capital One Mastercard and $200 were stolen from his home .
Police say the credit card was used twice at a Hess Mart on Route 309 and then once at a local Walmart.
The total transaction amount was more than $700, police say.
Fuel stolen
from trucks
Police say Andalusia Wholesale Supply, 7566 Morris Court, Upper Macungie Township, reported 4 p.m. May 20 that during the previous week about 100 gallons of diesel fuel was siphoned from its trucks.
