Timothy E. Reichard, 52, of Neffs, formerly of Germansville, died May 17, 2013, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, shortly after the motorcycle he and his female companion were riding was hit by a sport utility vehicle in Washington Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Robert E. Reichard of Grand Blanc, Mich. and the late Pauletta J. (Utt) Reichard.

He was the owner and operator of the Reichard Trucking Co., Germansville, since 2009.

Prior to that, he was employed by the former Lamar Haas Trucking Co., Slatedale.

He attended Northwestern Lehigh High School.

In addition to his father, he is survived by stepmother Cindy Reichard; twin brother Todd E. and his wife, Michele, of Germansville; live-in companion Judy L. Olewine and her daughter, Ashley; stepsister Kerri Rutherford of Michigan; stepbrother Rick Pyron of Allentown; half-sisters Lisa Hosford of Brein-igsville and Connie Williams of Kutztown; nephew Jarret Reichard and several uncles and aunts.

He was predeceased by a sister Tane L. Reichard and his grandparents, Clyde and Margaret Utt, who raised him.

His memorial service will take place at a later date in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.

The Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate. Interment will be in Jacob's Union Cemetery , New Tripoli.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory be made to one's favorite charity.
