Incumbent Linda Snyder is the apparent winner of two seats on the Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners.

Assuming no one wages a successful write-in campaign in the fall, she will win both seats.

Snyder won 678 county votes in the race for the four-year seat and 488 votes for the two-year seat, according to unofficial results from Lehigh County.

With no Republicans running, the winners of the Democratic primary will be elected in the fall, barring a successful write-in campaign.

Jerry Palagonia and Thomas Slonaker also won the nomination for the two additional seats with four-year terms. Palagonia earned 636 votes and Slonaker earned 552, according to unofficial results.

Paul Geissinger and Barry Walakovits were knocked out of the running with 546 and 406 votes respectively, according to unofficial results.
