Schnecksville will be rocking to the beat of six different musical performing acts June 2, at the Schnecksville Fire Company.
Hosted by Mike Mittman, the Springfest Oldies Spectacular will feature The Duprees, whose big hit was "You Belong to Me;" The Rip Chords, who made "Hey Little Cobra" famous; the Main Street Cruisers; Shirley Alston Reeves, lead singer of the Shirelles; Light Out with a Four Seasons tribute; and Johnny M. as Elvis.
Gates open at 11 a.m. Music runs 1-7 p.m., with dancing on the Lehigh Valley's largest portable wooden dance floor.
Highlights include a classic car display, beer garden, inflatable amusements for kids and food provided by local organizaitons.

Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will have a Memorial Day service at 9:30 a.m. May 27, in Union Cemetery.
On June 2, Union Lutheran, at the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. worship services, will honor all members who are graduating from high school, technical school or college this year.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, will decorate its sanctuary with geraniums for the 10:15 a.m. worship service May 26, in honor or in memory of loved ones for Memorial Day.
The Mission Committee of St. John's is making 5-foot by 5-foot garden plots available to any interested group or individual.
All produce grown will either be given directly to local food banks or sold to church members to raise funds for the food banks.
Gardeners are requested to spend at least 15 minutes per week weeding and caring for the plants as needed.
The mission committee will till the soil and oversee the effort.

On Memorial Sunday May 26, Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will remember those who lost their lives while serving in the Armed Forces.
Ceremonies will take place 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Soldiers' Monument in the cemetery.
Musical duo Alathea will entertain at Union UCC at the 8 a.m. and at the 10:30 a.m. services June 2. Singer-songwriters Christi Johnson and Mandee Radford will share their deep faith.
Guests are welcome to come.
Afterward, there will be a picnic in the grove with food, games and fun for all ages. The highlight will be an opportunity to build-your-own ice cream sundae.
