More than 65 volunteers of all ages from St. John's Lutheran and St. John's United Church of Christ churches, Emmaus, donate their time to remove approximately 500 worn flags from military veterans' gravesites and replace the flags with new ones at Northwood and L & R cemeteries in the borough May 11. Scouts from St. John's UCC Boy Scout Troop 25 mulched many of the trees and members of St. John's Lutheran Cub Pack 70 removed worn flags from their standards and helped place new flags.
