Harold W. Geiger, 80, of New Tripoli, died on May 3, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Ruth C. (Kutz) Geiger celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last April 3.

He retired as a material handler and machine operator at Packaging Corp. of America, formerly Commonwealth Container, Trexlertown, for 40 years before retiring in 1998.

He also assisted his family in the operation of their farms in Heidelberg Township.

He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown, Community Fire Company, New Tripoli, and Goodwill Fire Company No. 1, Germansville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Michael H. and his wife, Donna, of New Tripoli, Steven H. and his wife, Laurel, of Palmerton; sister Joan M. Casari and her husband, Richard, of Schnecksville; grandchildren Joshua, Adam, Marie and Kristin; and great-granddaughters, Emily and Sophia.
