Visual Communication Design major April Moyer, a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, helped organize Stevenson University's 2013 Relay for Life Event.

This 12-hour overnight event, symbolizing a night in the life of someone fighting cancer, took place April 19-20 in the Owings Mills gym.

The committee began planning the details of this huge event during the fall semester and met frequently to ensure every detail was covered.

Committee members assisted with everything from marketing, recruitment, registration, to planning the luminaria ceremony and survivors' dinner.
