Following the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Northampton Area Middle School, the first sign the project has begun was Saturday when several large trees on the east side of the Northampton Borough Park were cut down by Keith Orewan of Keith's Tree Service in Bangor. The borough turned over the site, including basketball and tennis courts, to the NASD for the project.
