Harold Lewis Hess Jr. 82, formerly of Breinigsville and Allentown, died April 26, 2013, in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township.

He was the husband of the late Doris A. (Feno) Hess.

Born March 1, 1931, in Allentown, he was the son of Harold L. Sr. and Judith (Fisher) Hess.

He was a sales representative and manager of Levitz Furniture, Whitehall, for 35 years before retiring.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

His survivors include daughters April R. Bracali of Allentown, Allison R. Weller of Orefield; siblings Robert, Elizabeth Dickert, William and Anna Mae Hess; six grandchildren including September and Vincent James; and one great-granddaughter.

He was predeceased by a daughter Angel R. Weinstein.

His service was private. There were no calling hours. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
