Harold J. Meagher, 88, of Orefield, died April 29, 2013, at home.

He was the widower of Arlene (Serfass) Meagher.

Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Earl and Erna (Handwerk) Meagher.

He was employed by Bethlehem Steel in the steam, water and air department from 1942-85.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Towamencin.

He honorably and faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marines Corps during World War II.

His services were private.
