Rudolph Dimmlich, 100, of Allentown, died April 21, 2013.
He was the husband of the late Theodora H. (Bock) Dimmlich.
Born in Werdau, Germany, he was a son of the late Heinrich and Lydia (Leibold) Dimmlich.
A design engineer and consultant for various Lehigh Valley companies, he worked until age 83.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall, where he led a Bible study group and sang with the choir.
He was a lay minister, Bible study leader, and had been the brass choir conductor in a church in Germany.
His survivors include a daughter, Annelie, and her husband Floyd Schultz; a son, Matthias and his wife Rotraut; a sister, Johanna Dimmlich; and granddaughters Christine and Karen Shultz.
He was predeceased by a son, Joachim.
