The Drama Club of Good Shepherd Catholic School will present "High School Musical, Jr." 7 p.m. Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27.
A matinee performance will be presented 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28.
Student performers are students in fourth through eighth grades. The performances will be held in the school gymnasium.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library will be sponsoring a chartered bus trip to Adventure Aquarium, Camden, N.J., Friday, June 21. The bus will depart promptly at 8 a.m. from the Northampton Recreation Center, 1 Lerchenmiller Drive, and will arrive back at approximately 6 p.m.
This trip is open to everyone.The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, May 23. The cost includes transportation and admission to both the aquarium and the 3-D movie.
Sign up at the library, 1615 Laubach Ave. Those planning to attend should park in the lot to the left of the rec center building and use the rows farthest from the building.

The fifth annual Make-A-Wish cut-a-thon will be held Sunday, April 28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at Shear Impressions, 1774 Main St. Stylists will be offering discounts on haircuts, manicures and brow waxing.
There will be a Chinese auction, food and more. All proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Donations are welcome.

The Northampton Area Food Bank will hold a general meeting Tuesday, April 30, in the fellowship hall of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Ave.
Dinner will be held 6-7 p.m. The menu includes hot dogs, turkey barbecue and drinks. Covered dished and desserts are appreciated.
The business meeting starts at 7 p.m. The board encourages all volunteers, clients and anyone else interested in the food bank to attend this meeting and slide presentation.
Area churches are asked to invite their congregants.

The Quota Club of Northampton is running a bus trip fundraiser to New York City to see the Broadway musical "Newsies" on Saturday, May 4. The bus will leave from Northampton at 8 a.m. for a 2 p.m. show.

The Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue, hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the games begin at 7 p.m. The kitchen is open. Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
