Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have its annual country salefrom 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 4.

There will be a huge yard sale with garden plants and a flower market. A beautiful quilt sewn by church members will be raffled, along with many other interesting items.

Copeechan Fish and Game Club will have its junior fishing contest from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 27. The senior contest will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 28.

There is a fee to participate.

President Bruce Rex reports the average cost of one fish for the pond is $3.50. The club appreciates support for various fundraisers and welcomes new members and volunteers.

The Friends of Parkland Community Library will have a porch sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.on April 27.

The group will be selling used books, games, and puzzles with quality items at reasonable prices.

The annual book sale will take place Aug. 9 and Aug. 10 at Abury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall.
