Mark your calendars – Moore Township will be holding an electronics recycling event 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive.
Any electronic devices with a plug will be accepted with the exception of smoke detectors, large appliances and projection televisions. The service is free to all residents and small businesses with less than 50 employees.

The Moore Elementary PTA encourages students and parents to participate in the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.
Children ages 8 to 12 and their parents or legal guardians are invited to submit original, healthy lunch recipes.
One winner from each state will win a trip to Washington, D.C. and the opportunity to attend a Kids' State Dinner with First Lady Michelle Obama.

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 South Mink Road, Danielsville, will hold a spring basket social Friday May 3. Doors open at 4 p.m. with the drawing at 8 p.m. The kitchen will be open.
