Craig R. Yeanish, 81, of Slatington, died April 18, 2013, in his home.
He and his wife Jane (Wenner) Yeanish celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last Aug. 22.
Born Nov. 24, 1931, in Slatington, he was the son of the late Ray and Louise (Ebert) Yeanish.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
A 1959 graduate of Bloomsburg University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education, he was a business education teacher in the Northwestern Lehigh School District for 27 years before retiring in 1987.
He also was the owner of Valley Antique Ford since 1960.
He was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, Walnutport.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Mark C. of Slatington, Cindy J. DeLong of Slatington, Cathy A. Sneidman of Bolton, Mass., Lisa G., wife of Carl Kresge Jr. of Slatington, Amber L. Yeanish of Palmerton; sister Joan Sweeney of Allentown; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
