Four students at Salisbury Middle School, as part of a project for gifted support class, have organized a pet drive.
Students were given the task of finding a project that would impact the community by teacher Michelle DeOliveira.
Vivian Rogers, Ruby Wiener, Casey Schlack and Gretchen Helsel decided on the pet drive at SMS which began April 8 and runs through April 23.
They are collecting dog toys, cat litter, pet foods, pet crates, towels and blankets, cleaning supplies, office supplies, stretch and scratch and laundry detergent.
All items will be given to the Humane Society after the drive.
The students would appreciate the community's support of their project; all items can be dropped off at the school.
