Amazon worker

taken into custody

Police say Josh Trinidad, 20, of Allentown, was taken into custody March 20 at Amazon, 705 Boulder Drive, Upper Macungie.

Police allege when Trinidad was interviewed, he admitted to stealing more than 30 eletronic items valued at over $7,400 from the beginning of February to March 16.

Trinidad was taken to Lehigh County Prison to await arraignment on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, police say.

Man charged

with theft

Alberto Arroyo Jr. was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property 3:40 p.m. March 20 after he allegedly took an iPhone 3 belonging to Ivette Negron after the phone was left in a break room at Amazon, 705 Boulder Drive, Upper Macungie.

Police say a co-worker found the phone and was allegedly told by Arroyo he was familiar with the phone's owner.

Arroyo allegedly took the phone and said he would return it to the owner, police say.

An investigation determined there was allegedly no effort made by Arroyo to return the phone to Negron.

Vehicle door

damaged

Police say Aaron Gomez reported his vehicle's rear driver's side door was damaged sometime between 5 p.m. April 2 and 5 a.m. the next day by another vehicle's door while it was parked at 405 Nestle Way, Upper Macungie.

Vehicles egged

in township

Police say several vehicles had eggs smashed on them in the 400 block of Daniel St., Upper Macungie, sometime during the night of March 30 and the next morning.

One vehicle was keyed and had a large scratch.

Cash register

reported stolen

Upper Macungie Township police say Durell Shellhamer of Terry Hill Water Park, 10000 Hamilton Blvd., Upper Ma-cungie, reported 12:48 p.m. April 9 a white and black Royal 587 CX cash register containing $7 in change was stolen sometime between April 5-8.

Entry was made through an unsecured window.

Bicycle found

in township

Police say they have a bicycle found at 1 p.m. April 9 at Iroquois and Susquehanna trails.

Anyone who recently had a bicycle lost or stolen is asked to to call police at 484-661-5911 with a description.
