Fire Calls
April 8
· Stations 35, 36, 37 and 40 were recalled for a motor vehicle accident with injuries and rescue (doors stuck) at First Avenue and Main Street, 11:55 a.m.
April 9
· Station 39 responded to a cleanup of peanut oil that was poured in the storm drain near Spruce and Main streets, 10:56 a.m.
· A brush fire under the Race Street bridge brought out Stations 35, 36, 37 and 38, 3:29 p.m.
· Stations 35 and 36 responded to a motor vehicle accident with a spill on MacArthur Road northbound in front of City View Diner, 11:47 p.m.
April 10
· A motor vehicle accident with a spill at 1 Maryland Circle, brought out Station 36, 5:40 p.m.
· A reported transformer fire at 1706 Schadt Ave. brought out Stations 36 and 37, 9:21 p.m.
April 11
· A motor vehicle accident with injuries on Zephyr Boulevard near Schadt Avenue brought out Station 37, 2:30 p.m.
· A fire alarm at the Whitehall High School in the F section, found to be a pull station set off by a backpack set on it, brought out Stations 35, 36, 37 and 38, 5:58 p.m.
April 12
· An automatic alarm at the Fullerton Fire Company Social Club, 851 Second St., set off by cooking, brought out Stations 35, 36, 37 and 38, 6:33 p.m.
· Stations 35, 36, 37 and 38 responded to a fire alarm at Hawthorne Lane, found to be the resident changing the battery in the smoke detector, 9:10 p.m.
· A motor vehicle accident with injuries into a pole and then head-on into a southbound car in front of The Burger Shack, 2011 First Ave., brought out Stations 35 and 37, 10:50 p.m.
April 13
· A fire alarm at the Mosque Muslim Association, 1988 Schadt Ave., found to be from cooking, brought out Stations 35, 36, 37 and 38, 10:15 a.m.
· Stations 36 and 37 responded to a reported car fire at the Valero Gas Station, 202 Fullerton Ave., found to be an overheated car, 9:53 p.m.
April 14
· Mutual aid standby for the Allentown Fire Department for a two-alarm fire at 10th and Wyoming streets standing by at Station 37, 4:13 p.m.
