Edwin D. Moyer Jr., 87, of Macungie, formerly of Lyons, died April 10, 2013, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edwin D. Sr. and Mabel (Fehnel) Moyer.

He was a machinist for the former Fuller, Co., Allentown, for 20 years before retiring in 1992.

Prior to that, he worked for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Co., Fogelsville.

He was a Troop leader for the Boy Scouts and Explorers in Fogelsville.

He honorably and faithfully served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was of the Protestant faith.

His survivors include sons Robert and wife Susan of Macungie, Jeffrey and wife Laura of Newton, N.J.; daughter, Marcia, wife of James Bishop of Allentown; stepdaughter, Laura, wife of Gary Ace of Lyons; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
