Vehicle keyed
Coplay Police are investigating a report of a vehicle keyed.
A resident of the 100 block of South Second Street, Coplay, informed police April 10 her 2008 Nissan Altima was keyed overnight. The damage was found on the left side of the vehicle, police said.
Vehicle damaged
A resident of the unit block of South Second Street, Coplay, told police April 9 his Ford pickup truck was damage by vandals.
Police said sometime overnight valve stems were removed from two tires on the vehicle. The side of the pickup truck was also keyed.
The vehicle had been parked at the rear of the owner's residence, police said.
Police have not determined whether the two incidents on South Second Street are connected.
Odor reported
An odor of natural gas at 9:30 p.m. April 9 brought police to the home of a borough resident. The location was not identified by police in the report.
Upon arrival, officers heard a hissing sound coming from the basement of the house. The Coplay Fire Department was summoned and turned off the gas, police said.
UGI was notified.
