Rolyn Santiago has recently completed the criminal justice program at McCann School of Business and Technology, Allentown.

Santiago was awarded dean's list, honors, perfect attendance and was also the graduate speaker.

She earned a grade point average of 3.89 while attending McCann.

"The hands-on training I received at McCann has prepared me for a career in law enforcement," Santiago said. "I met many astounding people while attending McCann, great instructors and new friends that helped me along my way. Everything I learned at McCann I am applying in my career. McCann has given me a great opportunity to achieve what I want. I worked hard, and everything came together."

Santiago was one of 92 to graduate from McCann on April 12.

Santiago has joined the Allentown Art Museum as a security officer.

She plans on taking the civil service test and then applying for entrance into the police academy.
