To the Editor:

I was happy to see Republican Commissioner Ryan Conrad's re-election announcement in last month's Press. I supported Commissioner Conrad in his first election in 2009 and observed how hard he works to get results for our community. He's helped reduce the Township debt, kept a zero percent tax rate, and made responsible financial decisions.

Conrad is an energetic, compassionate leader and family man that is committed to making Lower Macungie a great place to live. He's a seasoned businessman that always maintains a high level of professionalism and treats everyone he comes across with respect.

I saw him knocking on doors in my neighborhood recently, and I was really impressed with how hard he is working to earn his re-election. Where typical politicians may rest on their incumbency, he's out there talking with residents. I've talked about his record and experience with my friends and neighbors, and they are equally excited about re-electing him.

I encourage your Lower Macungie readers to learn more about him in time for the May 21 Republican primary election. He has a website: www.ConradForCommissioner. com. We need experienced leaders who care about our community. I know Ryan Conrad is the right person and deserves re-election.
