Edwin D. Moyer Jr., 87, of Macungie, formerly of Lyons, died April 10, 2013, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edwin D. and Mabel (Fehnel) Moyer Sr.

He was a machinist for the former Fuller Co. in Allentown for 20 years, retiring in 1992. Prior to that he worked for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Co. in Fogelsville.

He was a Troop leader for the Boy Scouts and Explorers in Fogelsville.

He honorably and faithfully served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by sons, Robert and his wife Susan of Macungie, Jeffrey and his wife Laura, of Newton, N.J.; daughter, Marcia and her husband James Bishop of Allentown; stepdaughter, Laura and her husband Gary Ace, of Lyons; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
