Companies cited
for false alarms
Upper Macungie Township police say Home Depot was cited 10:30 p.m. March 23 for allegedly having four or more false burglar alarms within the past 12 consecutive months at 861 Nestlé Way, Upper Macungie.
In addition, the Rural Sportsmen's Association, 1090 Trexlertown Road, was cited 12:56 p.m. March 25 for allegedly having four or more false burglar alarms within the last 12 months.
Man climbs
lamp post
Police was dispatched 9:28 p.m. March 30 for a disorderly group of individuals allegedly rocking lamp posts at Schaefer Run and Bridgeton roads, Upper Macungie Township.
Upon arrival of the police, Emmanuel Scott, 18, was allegedly seen up the lamp post at the intersection, police say.
Police allege Scott had consumed an alcoholic beverage.
A citation was issued to him at the scene, police say.
Wheelbarrow taken from work site
Police say Daren Hinkle reported 10:43 a.m. April 1 a wheelbarrow and mixer were stolen from a work zone at 320 Milkweed Drive, Upper Macungie Township.
This theft occurred sometime between March 29 and 31 from a construction area where Hinkle is building new homes, police say.
Tote bag stolen

Police say Connie Schwartz reported a tote bag containing several items valued at $40 were stolen sometime between 6 p.m. March 27 and 6 a.m. the next day from an unsecured vehicle while it was parked at 8943 Breinig Run Circle, Upper Macungie Township.

Police say Sharon Jalowieki reported to police 4 p.m. April 1 her vehicle was scratched on the side while parked at 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Upper Macungie Township.
