Tulips stolen
from tent
Catherine Eckert of Slatington and James Pompa from Lehighton reported to police 11 p.m. March 27 that six tulips, a silver 2000 BTU propane heater and a brown kerosene heater were stolen from a tent at 4099 Route 309, North Whitehall Township, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.

Men attempt
to steal steel
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Joseph Thomas Blose, 38, of Allentown, and William Christopher Meleschuk, 31, of Bethlehem, allegedly attempted to steal $400 worth of steel re-bar to sell for scrap at 9:58 a.m. March 23 from Matthias Daniel Fenstermacher at 3764 Mauch Chunk Road, North Whitehall Township.
Police say charges for attempted theft are pending with District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.
Money stolen
from register
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say $125 was stolen between 8 a.m. March 20 and 11 a.m. March 23 from a cash register at Suyundalla Farms, 1848 Clearview Road, North Whitehall Township.

Firearm lost
in North Whitehall
Matthew Gerald Gilliland reported to police he lost his black Ruger CP9 handgun, serial number 32121797, at 5326 Wagon Wheel Drive, North Whitehall Township, sometime between Jan. 1 and March 12, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.

Man arrested
for DUI
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Brian Dean Schall, 22, of Fogelsville, was stopped 12:08 a.m. April 5 for an alleged traffic violation on Tilghman Street between Ruppsville Road and Route 100, Upper Macungie Township.
Police allege multiple indicators of intoxication were observed.
Schall was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, police say.
Charges will be filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie, upon receipt of blood test results, police say.
