Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will be having investment fraud bingo 4-5 p.m. April 22.
This version of bingo will educate and entertain groups on the topics of wise and safe investing principles, while having fun and getting informed on what to look out for and who to call with questions.

There will be no used book sale this summer.
There will be a porch sale 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 27, May 22 and June 21.
Drop by on one or all of the days to see what treasures you might find.
All proceeds from the sale goes to the library.

Asbury United Methodist Church, Walbert Avenue and Springhouse Road, South Whitehall, is hosting a community resource fair 1- 4 p.m. April 14.
Bring the family and learn about different community agencies in the Valley and the great services they provide.
Agencies expected to attend include Care Net., Valley Youth House, Lehigh County Conference of Churches, Second Harvest, Lions, Catholic Charities and many more.

The Jewish community will be celebrating Israel's 65th birthday with a "Walk the Land" event April 16.
The walk will take place rain or shine.
There will be games and activities starting at 4 p.m. at the Jewish Day School.
Participants will walk from the JDS to the JCC while showing support for Israel at 4:30 p.m.
This event will feature singing Happy Birthday to Israel, dancing and celebrating at the JCC.
Park at the Allentown Jewish Community and take the shuttle to the Jewish Day School.
The shuttle will also run back to the JDS at the end of the program.
This walk is a project of the Afkim Foundation, sponsored by Palram in partnership with the Jewish Federation, Jewish Day School and the Allentown JCC.

The first Parkland's Got Talent show and competition will take place at 7 p.m. May 17 in the high school auditorium.
