State Rep. Daniel McNeill's 133rd Legislative District office is now officially located in Whitehall Township.

Located at 1080 Schadt Ave., Whitehall, the office is situated in a suite of offices housed at the RE/MAX Center at the intersection of Mickley Road and Schadt Avenue, across from Hackman's Bible Bookstore.

The 133rd District includes most of Whitehall Township, Catasauqua, Coplay, Hanover Township (Lehigh County), Fountain Hill and some wards in Allentown, Bethlehem and Salisbury Township.

The move from the longtime 133rd state district offices previously located at 7 W. Fourth St., Bethlehem, took place April 1, as the result of a redistricting plan to take place sometime in 2014. The plan is currently before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Regardless of the outcome in the state's highest appeals court, the location of the 133rd District office will not be affected.

Before McNeill was elected, his office in South Bethlehem had housed former state representatives T.J. Rooney and Joseph Brennan.

The Catasauqua office on Bridge Street, also serving 133rd District residents, was closed late last year after Brennan left office.

"My staff and I look forward to serving the residents of the Lehigh Valley," McNeill said in a news release last week. "I encourage everyone to come to my new office to discuss how we can assist them with any state-related issues."

Consolidating operations at the Schadt Avenue location is a savings to taxpayers, he told The Press. All constituent services remain as a priority, including birth certificate applications, PACE cards for seniors, questions and issues relating to the property tax/rent rebate program, state income tax issues, car registrations, special tags, titles, driver's license applications, unemployment compensation and information on financial assistance for higher education.

The office is headed by Chief of Staff Robert J. Donchez and staffed by legislative assistants Tara Bowen and Brenda Pagan.

"I'm very happy with the location. We have bus service here on Schadt Avenue. There is plenty of parking," said McNeill, a Democrat. "This is just a great location."

McNeill said his staff can assist with the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program for seniors, process PennDOT forms, PACE/PACENET prescription-drug coverage applications for seniors, or help with any state government-related questions or issues.
