Joan A. Grim, 70, of Germansville, died on April 3, 2013, in her home.

She and her husband Larry L. Grim celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last April 15.

Born Nov. 25, 1942, in Slatedale, she was the daughter of the late Laird B. and Lydia C. (Balliet) Creitz.

A 1960 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, she was a teller at New Tripoli Bank for 25 years before retiring in 2001.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township, where she formerly served on the consistory.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Croix Chapter 235, formerly Slatington Chapter 458.

She was predeceased by a son, Dwayne Larry Grim, who died in 1983.
