The warm weather this week gave spring flowers a much needed push into their growing season. Crocuses were the first to appear. Now, daffodils and grape hyacinths are in bloom with hyacinths and tulips not far behind. These daffodils are blooming along the Ironton Rail-Trail trailhead at North Ruch and Chestnut streets, Whitehall.
