Due to a federal mandate, PPL was forced to remove mature trees and other invasive vegetation along the Wescosville-Trexlertown transmission line. Residents of the affected properties are concerned about the aesthetics and safety of the area. The trees were a buffer for accidents and a buffer from noise, dust and traffic. Residents from the affected neighborhoods say they are forming an alliance and will appear at the next commissioners meeting to ask for assistance.
