Ellen M. (Ziegler) Strauss, 92, formerly of Macungie, died April 4, 2013, in the Phoebe Home. She was the wife of the late Earl C. Strauss, who died in 2004. Born in Upper Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late David and Mabel (Lorish) Ziegler. She was the youngest of 10 children.

She was a lifetime member of Solomon's U.C.C., Macungie.

She worked for Allen Organ for many years.

She is survived by a son, Gerald and his wife Jean of Macungie; daughter Bonnie Amey of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas and his wife Bertha of Topton; sister-in-law, Catherine Eddinger; nieces and nephews.
