Margaret A. E. Innis of Allentown died March 26, 2013, in her home.

Born Aug. 13, 1952, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Patricia A. (Strausser) Innis M.D. and the late Arthur W. Lock-ner Jr.

A graduate of Reading High School and The Reading Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse and nursing instructor in Florida for 19 years.

She was the ex-wife of Gary Stone and Daniel Carson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by stepfather Frank P. Innis Jr.; daughter Anne E. Carson and her partner, Maggie S. Field, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; son Robert E. Carson, of Allentown; sister Maria T. Emert and brother-in-law, Stephen Emert, of Allentown; brother Patrick M. Lockner, of Virginia; nephew Matthew S. Emert of Allentown; and niece, Patricia A. Emert, of Austin, Texas.

A devout Mormon, she was active in her local ward.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. April 5, in Grandview Cemetery Section F, 2735 Walbert Avenue, South Whitehall.

There will be no calling hours or viewing.

Contributions may be made to the Lehigh County Humane Society, 640 Dixon St. Allentown PA 18103, for the benefit of homeless animals.
