The Coplay Public Library on Saturday will hold a spring book sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Fifth and Center streets library. Hundreds of gently used books can be purchased at low prices.
DVD movies, VHS tapes, CDs, books on CDs, audio music and records will be available to the public.
The event brings in throngs of people to the library.

Although delayed a day due to rain, Coplay's annual spring street cleaning was a success.
The 50 residents who failed to abide by posted no parking notices found their vehicles ticketed.
Police Chief Vince Genovese said during 2012 no vehicles were issued tickets while public works crews swept the streets.

Last Wednesday it appeared the borough hall was in the midst of an emergency or natural disaster.
An emergency drill was held in conjunction with Lehigh County and borough fire and emergency personnel outfitted in Hazmat outfits. Some passing motorists thought something major had taken place.

Although no one has started mowing yet, tomorrow the borough begins weekly pickup of yard waste.
The borough will dispose of tree branches and bush which may not exceed 3 feet in length. Branches must be bundled.
There is no extra fee for the service.

Commitment to Family and Community (CFC) will host Sunday afternoon a bingo to benefit the Relay for Life program.
CFC is housed in the social room at the fire hall on Cherry Street.
