Moore Elementary School will once again host an Alex's Lemonade Stand as part of the Great Lemonade War.

Students may bring in money and buy lemonade by the cup during lunch Friday, April 11. Students are also asked to wear yellow to show their support for kids for cancer.

An Alex's Lemonade Stand ambassador will be coming to speak to the students Thursday, April 18.

The Bath Area Food Bank, located at St. John's Lutheran Church, will be open Tuesday, April 9, from 10 to 11 a.m.

The food bank continues to grow. At the moment, 198 families are registered. Items desperately needed include canned tomato soup, canned chicken noodle soup, canned peas, canned pork and beans, Jell-O, instant pudding as well as any nonperishable food, and monetary donations.

The Bath Area Fish Committee is sponsoring a kids fishing contest at the Monocacy Creek 8 a.m. Saturday, April 13, and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14.

Entry to the contest is free for all children and donations are being accepted to purchase fish for stocking. Donations can be sent to the Bath Area Fish Committee, P.O. Box 143, Bath, 18014.

Christ United Church of Christ, Bath, will be participating in Community Days at the Palmer Park Mall April 20 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Members will be selling raffle tickets for the youth and outreach raffle as well as lollipops and church cookbooks.

Help is needed to sell dish towels, knives and spices.

Church brochures will be handed out as well that day.
