Kathleen M. Herring, 70, of Wes-cosville, died March 29, 2013, at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Guy A. Herring Sr. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last July. Born in Summit Station, she was a daughter of the late Howard M. and Ina A. (Long) Fessler.

She worked for Lucent Technologies for 27 years, retiring in 1998.

She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ, Allentown.

She was a Phillies fan and enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband; son, Guy A. Jr. and his wife, Wanda, of Kutztown; daughter, Aletha M. and her husband Larry Schade, of Allentown; brother, Howard and his wife Carolyn, of Schuylkill Haven; sister, Shirley J. Deibert, of Auburn; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Guy III and his wife Jenna, Melanie, Tabitha, and Spencer; sister-in-law, Betty Fessler. She was predeceased by a brother James S. and brother-in-law, Harold Deibert.
