Edwin J. Haberstumpf, 77, of Emmaus, died March 31, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice. He was the husband of Lois K. (Neave) Haberstumpf, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Albert H. and Ruth E. (Miller) Haberstumpf.

He was a welder for the former Haberstumpf Welding for many years, retiring in 1993.

He was an active member of Emmaus Moravian Church, serving as a sacristan for many years and as sexton for 20 years.

He was past president of the Emmaus Ambulance Corp.

He is survived by a son, Mark A. and his wife June, of Emmaus; daughters, Debra L. and her husband John McGinnis, of Emmaus, Elaine and her husband Al Kneller, of Emmaus, and Lori A. and her husband Michael Maurer, of Macungie; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by a sister, Carl A. Schulter.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, April 5 in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main St. and Keystone Ave., Emmaus.
