The Lehigh Township Historical Society will hold its annual basket social Sunday, April 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.

The kitchen will be open and food will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Anyone who wishes to donate an item should bring it to the fire hall by 11 a.m. April 7 or call one of the members to pick it up.

Proceeds will be used for construction of an addition to the historical centre.

The Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company Country Garden will hold an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 5.

The dinner will include soup, salad bar, rolls, side dishes, entrées and desserts. All proceeds benefit the fire company.

The Yokefellow Prison Ministry Fundraising Banquet will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Bethany Wesleyan Church.

The evening will include an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner, guest speakers, live dinner music and the Southern Gospel Quartet.
