Montana James Twining

Montana James Twining, 16, of Emmaus, died March 17, 2013, in his residence as a result of a fire. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Melissa Ann Twining.

He was a student in the LCTI program at Emmaus High School, where he enjoyed working on cars and learning to cook.

He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, where he was baptized and confirmed.

He was a Boy Scout, enjoyed taking karate lessons, playing Wii and watching WWF wrestling.

He was a much loved child, grandson and nephew. He was eager to help and enjoyed watching and playing with his aunt Robbyn's dogs and his cat Tabatha.

He is survived by his grandfather, Jacob Twining and wife Pamela; grandmother, Joan and her husband Elmer Pysher; uncle Jason; aunts, Robbyn and her husband Wayne Velasco, Valerie, Michelle, and Melody; great-aunt Jane Long; great-uncle, Raymond Myer. He was predeceased by his mother, Melissa Ann and her longtime companion, David Jenkins.

A combined memorial service for Melissa, Montana, and David was celebrated Sunday, March 24 in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus.
