Melissa Ann Twining, 48, of Emmaus, died March 17, 2013, in her residence as a result of a fire. Born in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was the daughter of Jacob Twining and Joan Pysher.

She worked for KFC and was a buss girl at the former Emmaus Diner.

She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit for the last 14 years.

She loved to crochet and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and staying at her sister Robbyn's house.

She is survived by her father and his wife Pamela; mother, Joan and her husband Elmer Pysher; brother, Jason; sisters, Robbyn and her husband Wayne Velasco, Valerie, Michelle, and Melody; aunt, Jane Long; uncle, Raymond Myer. She was predeceased by a son, Montana James and longtime companion, David Jenkins; brother, Joshua.

A combined memorial service for Melissa, Montana and David was celebrated on Sunday, March 24 in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus.
